About Berets Jars

Every summer, when I arrived at my grandmother's, I would go down the steps of the cellar to find myself in the middle of hams, sausages, jams, and tin canned goods. The canned food is French.  Invented at the beginning of the 19th century by Nicolas Appert, it consists of enclosing perishable food in an airtight container, then heating it to destroy germs and bacteria, thus ensuring the good preservation of the food.

Berets Jars offers artisanal recipes in jars without the addition of dyes and preservatives highlighting the richness of French gastronomy according to ancestral traditions.

Our aim is to take you on a culinary journey upon every bite.
